News from Brazil: Mr. Chiaki ISHII, 8th Dan, took part in the torch relay for the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games

On Saturday, July 16th, Mr. Chiaki ISHII living in Sao Paulo carried the Olympic torch in the torch relay for the coming Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.

took part in the torch relay in Itapetininga
As a part of the torch relay for the coming Rio de Janeiro Olympics from August 5th, Mr. Chiaki ISHII who was a Judo bronze medalist of Munich Olympics in 1972, and his daughter Ms. Vania ISHII who was a member of the Brazil team of Sydney Olympics in 2000, carried the Olympic torch in Itapetininga, Sao Paulo.
Under very tight security, Mr. Chiaki ISHII is passing the Olympic torch to his daughter, Ms. Vania ISHII.
